	Emma Horn E: emmah@uku.co.uk M: +44 (0)7979 963 893 The first four images are self-portraits which use movement and camera blur to capture an intimate moment in time. As part of a larger series the four still lifes relate to my grandmother, they are recognisable as a common portrait of possessions and memories. My project for the post-graduate certificate was to make a still life study of domestic interiors, to make familiar portraits with recurring objects. I explored the way objects are placed and displayed through looking at the composition and styles used in traditional painting. These projects are part of my ongoing photographic exploration of still life and the domestic interior as portraits of the everyday.
